Join me for a 2 day/2 night coastal offroad camping adventure. Here we will get to experience some of the more isolated hidden beauty of the south west, where you will get to drive an array of gravel roads, 2 wheel coastal tracks, beautiful beaches and massive sand dunes.
On our journey we will encounter many forests, forever changing bushland, inland lakes, rocky coastlines, and drive amazing beaches.
We will also access the bitumen for fuel and to check out a few tourist spots in the area.
Come prepared as there may be an opportunity to cast a line or make a splash in one of the rivers or lakes.
(You also have the option of joining me the night prior to the tour, destination to be confirmed closer to date and dependent on numbers)
Please note: No pets allowed as we will be travelling through national parks.
2 Day Adventure
Itineraries
Day 1
Let the Adventure begin
Or journey starts near Augusta, we will then head south/east to air down and hit the tracks towards Black point and Surfers cove, then follow the tracks to Jasper beach, and then enter the forest as we head to Lake Jasper, break out the water sports, have a dip, and grab some lunch. From here we cross the Donnelley before heading for our overnight camp.
Day 2
Pemberton
We start the day with some sight seeing as we head to to Pemberton. Here we can fuel up, grab a pie at the bakery and head back into the bush. Here we head into the Warren national park where we will take in some of the treasures around Pemberton as we head to the famous Yeagerup dunes. Time to air down again as we head for the beach and on to the mouth of the Warren river in the hope of crossing past it to then take up the challenge of the sand dune that is Callcup hill (Nicknamed “The Widowmaker”).
We will then continue to explore the coast and more of this beautiful land before the tour ending in Pemberton.
